BOINC contributions overtake email submissions
By now the new fully automated BOINC system has contributed more CPU-years in results than all previous email submissions combined.
BOINC submissions have overtaken email submissions.
The latest high scores update is available here and it shows:
- Results by email. The steady stream of submissions has now reached 143 CPU years, of which 42.6 years were contributed since 18 July 2006. These include tasks that cannot be computed by BOINC at the moment. For the most important of these work units, see here.
- Results from BOINC-yoyo have now reached 162.63 CPU years, since the BOINC scheduler started in Nov 2007.
Thus, the BOINC contributions have overtaken the results submission by email for the first time.
